Lookin' like a links day
Apparently, I spent all of my rage and vitriol for The Mother Ship today, so let's do links:
And I wanted to make this pretty with a picture of sausage links, but Blogger's being all hinky, so I guess we'll end it there. Get out there and grill magnificently tonight, folks.
- The Chicago Tribune's Phil Rogers laments native Chicagoan Curtis Granderson playing well in another city (and worse, for a division rival).
- Luke Walton's Forehead has some words for "bandwagon-ass cat" Pistons fans.
- Did our old friend Robert Fick (otherwise known as "Detroit's future AWESOME left-handed thunder after he hit the final home run in Tiger Stadium) really bat clean-up on Sunday for the Washington Nationals? (Insert exclamation with pun on Fick's name here.)
- Speaking of old Tigers buddies, has anyone asked Damion Easley to pee in a cup after the weekend he had for the Diamondbacks?
- The Detroit Tigers Weblog (as well as the Fungo) have details on the Tigers' 1st-round draft pick.
- Complete Sports has its eye on the 2011 All-NBA Team. I have two words for him: Where's Darko?
- The M Zone has the lowdown on the NCAA not letting a Hawkeye brotha get paid. (Holes-in-one and Hail Mary passes - what can't Drew Tate do?)
- The Daily Fungo is shopping on behalf of the Tigers for left-handed bats. His search takes him to... Boston?
- Greg Eno likes the look of this year's NBA Finals.
- It wouldn't be baseball season without one of Slammin' Samela's excellent Photoshop jobs. Poor Josh Beckett.
And I wanted to make this pretty with a picture of sausage links, but Blogger's being all hinky, so I guess we'll end it there. Get out there and grill magnificently tonight, folks.

I figured I could only waive the "You have to at least have done a little something in the NBA to be included on this list" for Greg Oden. :)
I do think Darko will be a solid player, but not better than Amare or Bosh, who are on my 3rd Team.

If Darko's IN the NBA in 2011, that might be worthy of recognition.
By the way, I'm enjoying the new baseball blog.
Thank you, Brian Sabean, people!

Thanks. :)
I found myself writing about Liriano all the time, and I figured, what the heck, and a new blog was born! The more the merrier. :D
